ROMARK Global Pharma

Mid-City provided funds to complete construction and equip a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Manati, Puerto Rico. Hurricane Maria had forced Romark to stop construction and secure flexible financing to finish the project. Since opening in 2019, the company has created dozens living wage jobs with benefits, hiring local people laid off by other pharma companies. Once fully operational, it expects to employ over 100 community members.

Grocer – Atlanta & Gainesville

Mid-City NMTC financed the acquisition and installation of food storage and preparation equipment at two newly-built supermarkets in Florida and Georgia. The stores have provided low-income residents with access to fresh food and employed over 130 residents in jobs with quality wages and benefits including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
